About kidney failure and treatment:
Once a patient is diagnosed with kidney failure, toxins and excess fluid accumulate in his body. He will start feeling sick because of the excess toxins. His survival depends on a dialysis programme of 4 to 5 hour treatments, 3 times a week. These treatments are expensive.
The decision to start dialysis is often accompanied by feelings of fear, anxiety and confusion, for both the patient and his loved ones. This story will help you better understand the struggles they face in grappling with and overcoming the disease, and welcomes you to do your part to help support these patients.
